Next Steps

We know that God has a plan for Main Street Church in the season of transition as we seek a new senior pastor. Please check back often for updates.

We are thrilled to announce that Shane will be our transitional pastor while we search for our new senior pastor. Shane will speak for us on Sundays as well as provide leadership to our staff, elders and deacons. He will begin on Sunday, March 28.

Shane is no stranger to Main Street as he served as the associate pastor from 2003-2008.

As we take some next steps for our church, the elders have recommended to the church that we vote to bring Mitchell Deaton and Joshua Zetterberg on as elders. Currently, they are serving as elder candidates.

Both candidates will share their testimony on March 7 and 21.

Voting by secret ballot will take place on March 28.

Nominations are being received through Sunday, March 14 for our pastor search team. If you or someone you know would like to be considered, please contact David Pack today.

The pastor search team will consist of 1 elder and 9 church members.

The final 10 chosen by the deacons will be presented on March 21. A secret ballet vote will be conducted on March 28.

A requested absentee ballot can be mailed or emailed to you on Monday, March 22 if you are unable to attend on March 28. Please contact David Pack.

If you are aware of someone who will need an absentee ballot, please contact the church office.

We covet your prayers most importantly during this season of transition for our senior pastor. We know that God has a perfect plan. May He be glorified in all this. If you have any questions or comments regarding these next steps, please email the church office.
